Hey all!! Man. I've loved this transfer w Sister Stewart. She is so incredible! We got transfer calls this week and she's leaving :(  She's taught me so much about humility and finding joy in the work. Sooo grateful for her! I'm getting Sister Marker! Should be fun!! We've seen so many miracles here and I've felt sooo much joy doing the work. We met a young couple, Ash and Owen. They are starting life out together and have gone through some really rough things.  I felt so strongly the urgency that God feels for them to hear the Gospel! I'm so grateful that this message we share changes lives and provides hope for a better world.  I love you all!

Follow Promptings!

Hey all!!  Don't have a lot of time this week, BUT. I will say FOLLOW EVERY PROMPTING YOU GET, EVEN IF ITS JUST A LITTLE THOUGHT! If it's good, do it. The Lord will bless you and whoever is involved.  Had a powerful week- got to go back to Cheboygan on an exchange. That was special. Spent the day with our district today which was also sooo fun!  I love you all! Sis Ross  Pics:

This week has been one of the most powerful on my mission! I have seriously loved every minute of it!!  We have found so many people to teach this week!! One in particular is Wesley and Kristy and their 3 girls. They are the sweetest family ever and I can't wait for them to come closer to the Savior and be more united as a family!! We met a man named Shawn this week. When we knocked on his door and asked if he'd be interested in hearing a message about Jesus Christ, he said no. But then as we kept talking with him he opened up and shared the hard things he's been going through. He's lost a lot of family members recently. He just seemed very weighed down. You could see it in his eyes. We asked what he's searching for and he said he wants hope that there is more than just bodies laying in dirt when we pass away. We promised him that he would see his family members again one day and that there is more for him and them! That God has a plan for him and we're there to...

God Is Good

This was such a good week!! Wow it was insanely busy.  Before I move on I just want everyone to know I'm so grateful for the companions I've had on my mission. They're incredible. My best friends. Sister Stewart is amazing and I've learned so much from her. She helps me to be myself and I'm grateful for that!  This week we had interviews!! I always learn a lot from President Heap. He's been focusing a lot on the importance of how we spend our morning time. He always promises that if we make our morning for the Lord, our day will go right. I've definetly experienced that! I've felt so much joy recently and I know part of that is because of how I spend my time and my thoughts in the morning. I have a goal to not open a social media app until after I study my scriptures. Not even to check a notification or anything. It's not always easy but it's worth it and it's helped me focus on what matters most!  We had MLC on Friday! Wowww it was powerful....

A Promise From God

Wow! Busy week here in Kalkaska. Every day we've come home exhausted. That's the greatest feeling for me. I love busy weeks!!  We have our sweet friend Christina who is preparing for baptism. She is so special. She's my age and is married and loves people and Jesus so much. She's a light. She was struggling earlier this week to commit and to know how she was feeling about joining this church. We invited her to read a couple verses in the Book of  Mormon and then to pray. She did!! She felt peace and is now ready to move forward. It's so amazing to me that when we have an open heart, God will direct us to know what to do.  Our friend Josiah is also struggling to know if God wants him here in this, Christ's restored Church, or if God wants him in the church he's been attending. He's praying to know what God needs him to do!  We read proverbs 3:5-6 with him:  "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.     In all...
