LOVE GOD AND LOVE OTHERS

Image
Howdy do! I just want all of you to know how much I love my Savior. I don't know what I would would without Him. He is the source of all peace. I was reminded on Saturday during one of our mission devotionals that Christ can give us the power to love more deeply and perfectly, it doesn't come from us. I've been praying for an answer to know what to do about something, and in the devotional the man speaking said: "the answer isn't to  do more ,  it's to  come closer   to Jesus Christ." I know that as we continue to put Christ at the center and deepen our relationship with Him, He will make all things possible! He makes up the difference for all our imperfections- as long as we continually pray and repent daily.  We've also been challenged to pray like we've never prayed before! We have seen so many miracles. The Lord blesses us when we pray with faith!!  I LOVEEE moroni 7:48-  "Wherefore, my beloved brethren, pray unto the Father with all the e...

Heyo!!     This week was pretty crazy!  First things first, I've attached pictures of Mackinaw Island (two weeks ago), Jimmy and Ashley's wedding (last week), and Jimmy's baptism (tuesday)!! For some reason my connection was being weird last week so I couldn't attach the pics.      BUT OKAY. Let me tell you all. Jimmy's baptism was amazing!! He couldn't stop smiling and saying thank you. We compared the pictures of their family from the day before to after Jimmy was baptized and there was a stark difference. Receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost does wondrous things to a person. I can't wait for him to move forward on the covenant path and for him to keep feeling the peace and joy that comes from following Christ!!      Also a cool miracle from his baptism... sis hansen and i were filling out his baptismal record when we realized we hadn't gotten Elder Johnson (our district leader) to sign it yet. Sis hansen felt prompted to call him because t...

It's gonna be a blast and I can't wait to learn and grow because I know I'll definitely be doing a lot of it lol. I will miss sister hansen LIKE CRAZY because she is amazing but I know she's gonna kill it in her next area!!! I'm so proud of her.  I feel like elder hollands facebook post is applicable... everyone go give it a read!!! Sometimes we fear the future and worry about the effects of change in our life. I encourage them to accept these new stages and ste...

Hey everyone! This week was so good. We got our second  covid shot on Tuesday and so we were pretty achey on Wednesday. But that's okay because we still got some missionary work done!  Jimmy and Ashley are doing so well. They have committed to following the word of wisdom and are working so hard to do that. We're pushing their  baptismal date back a week. we all feel this will be the right timing for them. They have the strongest desire to build their lives and their family on Jesus Christ. It's the coolest thing to see. Also they are getting married in 7 days!! Sooo excited. Keep them in your prayers!  I've been messaging this guy on Facebook who is SO into the Book of Mormon. We've had some great discussions on it. He lives in the part of Michigan that's not in our mission, and so I was trying to find the elders that are serving in that area. God answers prayers lemme tell ya. I posted in a Facebook page for missionaries, no one responded. And I didn't kno...

Give It To God

This week was one of the best!! First off... Jimmy and Ashley are still on track to getting married and baptized! Literally the best thing ever. Keep them in your prayers as they continue to learn more about the Gospel!  We had an amazing lesson with Emma, one of our recent converts daughters. She is so special!! She wants so badly to be baptized, but due to some circumstances in her life and the fact that she's under 18, she can't be baptized yet. So keep her in your prayers as well that when the timing is right for Emma, that she'll be able to be baptized! It was really cool to talk with her about baptism. I felt Heavenly Father's love for her and that He has amazing things in store for her. I'm really grateful that I get the chance to feel that as a missionary. oh and yeah!!! I've officially been out in the field for 3 months! Pretty cool. time has gone sooo fast it's crazy. I've loved every single minute of it. we got to visit one of the members of o...
