Heyo!!

This week was pretty crazy!

First things first, I've attached pictures of Mackinaw Island (two weeks ago), Jimmy and Ashley's wedding (last week), and Jimmy's baptism (tuesday)!! For some reason my connection was being weird last week so I couldn't attach the pics.

BUT OKAY. Let me tell you all. Jimmy's baptism was amazing!! He couldn't stop smiling and saying thank you. We compared the pictures of their family from the day before to after Jimmy was baptized and there was a stark difference. Receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost does wondrous things to a person. I can't wait for him to move forward on the covenant path and for him to keep feeling the peace and joy that comes from following Christ!!

Also a cool miracle from his baptism... sis hansen and i were filling out his baptismal record when we realized we hadn't gotten Elder Johnson (our district leader) to sign it yet. Sis hansen felt prompted to call him because they were on their way home from transfers and could be close. They were literally a mile away from us when she called them!! So they came, signed Jimmy's baptisimal record, and then they got to baptize and confirm Jimmy. Tender mercies from the Lord. He really does micromanage His work!!

the day after the baptism sis hansen and I drove down to lansing for transfers. we said our goodbyes:( I will forever be grateful for her! She taught me so much!

Sister McNeill is my new companion!! She's only a few days into the mission field but let me tell you she is ready to go. She is perfect for the Cheboygan area. It's going to be a miracle filled couple of transfers!

I just want all of you to know that I love being a missionary. It's amazing to experience the power of this work. Watching people come closer to Jesus Christ is the best thing in the entire world!! It truly is the greatest work.

I love that because of Jesus Christ, repentance can be a JOYFUL thing. It's something we can do daily, through Him. When we truly lay everything down at His feet and commit to do better, He takes our burdens and blesses us. I know that Jesus Christ knows us individually. He is there for us every step of the way. Because of Him we can have peace, joy, safety, and love in a confused and crazy world. And I know that as we give our all to Him, He provides a way every single time.

I've experienced that so much on my mission!! When I give Him my all, He gives me everything I need to accomplish His will.

"And by so doing, the Lord God prepareth the way that the aresidue of men may have bfaith in Christ, that the Holy Ghost may have place in their hearts, according to the power thereof; and after this manner bringeth to pass the Father, the covenants which he hath made unto the children of men.

33 And Christ hath said: aIf ye will have bfaith in me ye shall have power to do whatsoever thing is cexpedient in me."

- Moroni 7:32-33

Love you all!!
