Lovest Thou Me More Than These?

Hey all! This week was insanely busy but insanely good.  We got news... sis Schmidt is leaving to go back to the Spanish Branch. And I'm staying here and getting Sister Mamata!! I'm so grateful for sis Schmidt. She has made a huge impact on my life and has taught me so much. I really look up to her and the way that she loves our friends so deeply. She is powerful. I'm devastated that she's leaving but I know the Hispanic people need her. I can't wait for after the mission when we get to hang out and have long talks and watch movies together:))) she has changed me for the better!  I am so excited to get Sister Mamata! She's a legend in the mission and I can't wait to get to know her better.  Tracy got a priesthood blessing yesterday. It was powerful. In the blessing the Lord expressed His love for her. I had been having a hard time knowing how to help her and then after hearing how much the Lord loves her and needs her in His church it brought be comfort to k...

Living In Revelation

Hey all! This one's gonna be a little bit short sorry!  This week was powerful.  Monday night we experienced the most special miracles! It was like 10° outside but we had a bunch of people in our records that we needed to go visit. We questioned if it was worth it... then decided that we'd go. We went to this one apartment complex and knocked some doors. Met some really special people. Jayde, Solange and her mom Ruth, and Brandy. The Lord blessed us with so many miracles to find them. It reminds me of a principle Elder Bednar calls "living in revelation". We were just knocking and He led us through small thoughts and feelings to certain doors. It was amazing. If we're doing all we can to follow Him and be obedient, then He'll bless us with miracles! We had MLC on Friday. I said a prayer before hand that I'd be able to feel seen and known by God. And that day I felt such a special spirit. It was powerful to hear everyone's experiences in their respectiv...

I Need Thee Every Hour ♡

Hola amigos!  What a great week!  We had two amazing exchanges this week. I was with Sister Kitzman and Sister Vassar. Those two sisters are so incredible. I love them sooo much and just want to be everything Heavenly Father needs me to be for them. I want to support them in their missionary service in any way that I can!  I learned a lot from those two exchanges. I felt really inadequate going into them. Wasn't sure if I'd be able to be what they needed. I really relied on the Lord. A lot haha. And He definetly helped me! My testimony grew so much this week about how much we need Him. Those sisters are incredible and I learned so much from them. We had some amazing conversations and they helped me so much, too. I'm grateful I have the opportunity to be with them and get to know them!  This past Sunday was the last Sunday with the entire Wyoming ward, before it becomes Wyoming 1 and 2 wards. Everyone is pretty sad about it! I am too. It'll be hard to say goodbye to t...

Hola Hola Hola  Not gonna lie this week was pretty long. We were sick for most of it and then didn't get to go do in person stuff until Friday.  Friday and Saturday were good days! We had an amazing dinner with Sis Thurber, Mayo, and Billie Sue. I love those ladies so much. We talked about the Savior and His abilities to heal us.  Then Saturday I had an amazing exchange with Sister Peterson! She's an incredible missionary and she taught me so much. I'm grateful for her openess and her joy. We had an awesome time. With her I learned that Heavenly Father blesses us to be instruments in His hands even if we don't feel qualified.  ALSO. NEWS. there's going to be a new stake in this area!! It's called the Holland, Michigan stake. Woot woot! Our ward is going to be split and then they're bringing other units up from down south. We'll be a part of this new stake. And possibly a new zone. Ahh we'll see! It's exciting to see the Lord's work moving for...
