Heyyy all!  It's been a crazyyyy busy week. We entered what's called "soft phase 3". we can knock doors and meet people in person!! Also we don't have to wear masks if the person we're teaching doesn't care. blessings!!  we've seen so many blessings as things have opened up more. We've had so many amazing lessons with people in person. The work is progressing up here and I feel so grateful to be a part of it!  some cool experiences...  we met with Shauna in person! Shauna is a less active member in the group that we do book of mormon studies with each week. we had a lesson planned with a new friend of ours and we invited shauna to come. the guy didn't show up so we talked with shauna!! she asked us about the holy spirit. we explained that it's a gift that we have with us always, and that it guides us closer to God. then what happened next was so awesome. a few weeks ago we had a sunday devotional and the guest speaker went over 7 things tha...

This week was so good!!  we have seen so many miracles. our friend Andrew came to church! We were worried that he might've felt overwhelmed but then he messaged us afterwords and said that he has never felt so loved at a church as he did at ours. He told the members of the group that he wants to come next week! We're so happy for him. I love the members of this group they are amazing. They do such a good job of reaching out and helping people feel included.  We've done a lot of facebook finding at the Lake here in Cheboygan..it's been a lot of fun! We find on our phone, but we also talk to as many people we can in person! On friday, we felt prompted to go up and talk with a man who was just chillin' on a bench. His name was Justin and he's going to school in DC (my fav place) and was in Cheboygan to visit his parents. we gave him Book of Mormon and he said that he'd love to meet up again and study it with us!! Hey friends, family, and whoever else is on this email list,  I can testify of the blessing of AC. We had a few days this week that were 90 with humidity and we had NO AC in the apartment. We were so hazy and we couldn't get anything done lol. but then prayers were answered and the AC was put in!! We suddenly felt so much happier and able to do things lol. So that was an adventure this week.  I also want to testify of how amazing a mission is. I have learned sooo much. I feel like every single day I learn something new or get chastened in some way that brings me closer to Jesus Christ.  I've also had a lot of reminders that we are not alone in this work. Heavenly Father is with us every step of the way!  In district council we talked about following the spirit. Heyyy!! So crazy that it's already pday again. The weeks go sooo fast on a mission. I was laying in bed last night trying to  fall asleep and I was thinking "how the heck have i already been out on my mission for 4 months?!" time is going way too fast!  This week we saw so many answers to prayers! A few of our lessons fell through yesterday so we started out our facebook finding with a prayer that we would be able to teach someone new that day. God answered!! Sis McNeill texted someone who lives in Utah who's from here and she ended up being a member of the church. So sis McNeill asked if there's anyone in Cheboygan she knows who could use the message of the Gospel! The lady responded back with a name and an address. So we went over and she was outside! She knew a lot about our church and started bashing it lol but then she kept talking about how impressed she was with us. We talked about Jesus Christ with her and the common beliefs that we have.
