wellllll here we are again! Time on the mission is crazy. I've only been in the field for three weeks, but I feel like I've been here so much longer than that. BUT. the weeks have gone by so so fast its crazy.      this week was a crazy one! on tuesday I had my first exchange. The STL's came  up to cheboygan and then we switched companions for a day. So I got to know sister olsen and we did our lessons, comp study, and everything else together. it was pretty fun! It's nice to get to know more people in the mission.     wednesday! We drove to district council in the morning, and then straight to lansing (about a 3-4 hour drive). we stayed the night with the STL's in lansing and then sister frogley hopped on her flight to brazil early thursday morning! Sister Hansen and I will miss her tons but we are so excited for her to get back to brazil.  thursday we drove back to cheboygan.      so... lots of driving this week! it's been fun to get t...

Hey all!   It was such a good week! I gotta say I love being here in Cheboygan and I love serving a mission. It's been so fun. Also sorry to everyone who read my email last week I didn't get enough time to explain the pics I sent.... those two I sent were from when we went sledding as a district on p-day! It was a blast.  Ok! To explain the subject line of my email.... here in Cheboygan we don't have a branch or a ward, we have what's called a group! There are about 25 members of the church but only about 15ish of them go to church, and only like 5 of them participate in Sunday school and everything else. I love these people so much! It's so special to be in such a small group. They call it a twig, which I thought was funny. I love that these people love the Gospel so much. Most of them (actually all but like 1 of them) found the Gospel later in life and are the only member of the church their family. The people here love the Gospel. They don't go to church to j...

Hey everyone!  I made it back on my mission!! Woot woot. I know that God answers prayers and that this is where He wants me to be!! I had my surgery the week before they started cancelling surgeries because of covid. I am super blessed and I know God was involved in the details!  I'm currently in Cheboygan, Michigan. I flew out on Tuesday. Cheboygan is a small town on the tippy top of Michigan. Its right next to one of the great lakes! We had about a foot of snow this week. I am loooving the snow. Its beautiful.  We're inside most of the time doing what we call "Facebook doorknocking". We also do a few Facebook lives each week so if ya wanna watch.... ya know... to get some spiritual uplift.... come join; ) I wasn't expecting to be inside as much as we are, but it hasn't been too bad!  Its so cool to see how the lord progresses His work.
