Bound To Him

HEYOOOO!

This'll be quick!

We had transfers this week! Had to say goodbye to my dear friend sis Schmidt. I love her tons. She taught me so much and I'm so grateful for our friendship!

My new compañero is sis mamata! Man she's incredible! She just brings straight fire and joy everywhere she goes. I feel so blessed to know her and can't wait for the miracles we'll experience in this area!

We are getting the new Holland Zone up and running! And let me tell you folks the missionaries in this zone are AMAZING. I love them all so much. It's going to be a great transfer with all of them.  I know God has miracles and increased faith to give us.

We've been studying a lot about our baptisimal covenants. It's what we're focused on this transfer as we read the Book of Mormon focused on the Savior. Can I just tell you that I've never been so excited to take the sacrament every sundah in my life?! During the week I think about it and I'm just so happy to have that time with me and the Savior. To focus on what I promised Him I'd do when I was baptized. It's a powerful experience every Sunday and always helps me to feel refreshed and happy. We've been reading a talk by Marcus B. Nash called "the ordinance and covenant of baptism".
He talks about why baptism is necessary. Oh, how it is!! It is what binds us to Jesus Christ. Without baptism and the gift of the Holy Ghost, we cannot be fully cleansed.
He said
"He gave his son so that- mistakes and all- we can be empowered to become like God and return to His presence if we exercise our faith in Christ unto repentance. And the first fruits of repentance is baptism".

we NEED baptism! We need it to be bound to Him.

I love that. And I love that I get to renew my promise I made with the Savior every Sunday at church. It truly changes me.

I love Him!

Love all of you!

Sis Ross
