IT'S CHRISTMAS!!

Heyyooo!!!

Ah guys I love my mission. I am sooo happy to be here during this Christmas season!! Spending time with other missionaries, testifying of Christ, lighting the world, ahh all of it. I just feel so blessed!!

Grace and Prince were baptized this weekend!! I am so proud of them. They have the purest desire to follow Christ. It was the coolest thing- when Prince was receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost he was blessed that he would bring the truth to many. That he'd teach many about Jesus Christ. That made me so happy. Helped me remember that this work is eternal. The miracles that we see are led by God- and they have eternal consequences. I love it. It's the greatest work ever!
Grace doesn't speak good English (she's from the Congo and spent years in refugee camps. She's so strong)  so we had an amazing member who speaks French confirm her. The spirit was so strong. Her family was there and they were so supportive of her. I love her and Prince so much! God's got amazing things for them to do.

The day before their baptism we got to participate in a zone conference (not our own) I played violin and we both sang in the choir. It was a blast. I feel so blessed that I've been able to share my testimony through music! I got to see sis hansen and sis Traughber, two of my favs!! It made me so happy. I feel so blessed with the companions I've had on my mission! They're all amazing.

Also, I got to see sis Sampson on Tuesday which made me so happy. It felt so good to give that girl a hug!!

At the zone conference, President Heap said some things that really inspired me.

He said, "Father wants all of us back and Jesus makes it possible".

SO TRUE. Joy in this life and the life to come is only possible through Jesus Christ.

We also talked about the wonderful people of Michigan. Most of them are Christian or have some understanding of Jesus Christ. We want all who love and know the Savior to bring all they know of Him. But, our message to the world is that THERE IS MORE. Christ wants us to be as close to Him as we can be. He's blessed us with this amazing Gospel and with His church. We can expand our knowledge of Him by making promises with Him. It's truly special. Again, full of things that last for eternity.

I love this scripture:
"And it came to pass that Jesus blessed them as they did pray unto him; and his countenance did smile upon them, and the light of his countenance did shine upon them, and behold they were as white as the countenance and also the garments of Jesus; and behold the whiteness thereof did exceed all the whiteness, yea, even there could be nothing upon earth so white as the whiteness thereof." (3 Nephi 19:25)

I felt this with Grace and Prince this Saturday. I know it's possible for all of us to feel this way. I pray that you all have a special Christmas. That even if things aren't happening the way you want them to or you're struggling to feel joy,  know that Christ is aware of you. That He loves you and knows you. And that He's smiling over you. He wants you to feel the pure joy that comes from being clean and chosing Him.

I love my Savior!! I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!
