Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!
This week was insanely busy but so good! We had a really special Thanksgiving. We got to eat with two members families from our ward, who had their friends and family there with them! It was so fun! I loved being with them and even got to make my parents chocolate pie that we have every Thanksgiving. We also got to spend some time with some other missionaries that morning. We went on a hike with a few sisters and i got to see lake Michigan again:) I've missed it and it made my day to be there! Then we went on a turkey trot run and man did that feel good. I love running.
Overall it was an amazing day! God really has blessed us in this area.
Mckenzie is getting baptized this friday! I can't wait for her. She's so pure and her desire to follow Christ is so special.
There's this Christmas song that sis Schmidt and I have been listening to on repeat. It's called "I still believe in Christmas" by Anne Wilson. Some lyrics have really stuck out to me. it says,
" For God so loved this broken world
He sent His only son
To a carpenter and a teenage girl
To show us all His love
He left His home in Heaven
To make Heaven my home
My Emmanuel is with me
And I'll never be alone"
To a carpenter and a teenage girl
To show us all His love
He left His home in Heaven
To make Heaven my home
My Emmanuel is with me
And I'll never be alone"
It brings me so much peace! This week I've felt really grateful for my Savior. If I ever have a moment where I'm overwhelmed or feeling insecure or anything like that I've reminded myself of my Savior. That I have no reason to be stressed or sad. We can rejoice because of Him! I feel so so lucky to know about this Gospel. It brings me so much joy.
We've had some special moments with our friend Tracy this week. God has promised her very specific and bold blessings. He loves her tons! It's really cool to feel that love He has for her. She's going to do some amazing things. I know that God wants her to be baptized and that it'll happen for her. Just don't know when yet. Pray for her!
Love all of you tons. Hope you're well:)

9) this little boy from the ward was baptized this week and it was so special to be a part of it! Reminded me of my own baptism. It was so pure and the spirit was so strong. I love that the requirements for baptism are having a broken heart, contrite spirit, and a desire to follow Christ. We don't have to be perfect or know everything.
