ICE CREAM MIRACLE

I think it's so cool that Heavenly Father micromanages His work. On thursday we had lunch scheduled with a sister in our group and her husband. when we got there, she walked out with a bunch of her friends and she said that she forgot about us and asked if we could move it to next week. No biggie, but we drove all the way to onaway (about 45 min away). so we went to dairy queen and got some ice cream. before we went in we prayed in the car that we'd be able to find someone to talk to or teach. we had to take some pics (bc we had a training that morning and the sisters told everyone to get some ice cream that day). so we took two pictures and then right after that a guy named Bill walked out. (mind you- we wouldn't have met him if we didn't take the pictures). so we sat down with him at the tables and talked about our beliefs and his beliefs. we gave him a Book of Mormon and he lit up! Said he had a friend that had one. he was like "i'm going to go talk to my friend about this!" He's not from our area so we got his phone number. He called us on sunday and said HE HAD READ ALL OF FIRST NEPHI ALREADY. ANNDD took notes. So he went over each chapter with us and told us what he got out of it. AND! he got a job in onaway so he'll be moving to our area! God is great. If our lunch with that sister didn't fall through, we never would've met him. I'm so excited to keep teaching him. 

I'm so grateful that God guides this work!! like literally every detail. And cool thing is, we don't have to be missionaries to see how God guides us. I encourage you to look for the small miracles and tender mercies that God gives you. He is there! He knows you. 

I'm so grateful for my district!! I love being around people who love the Lord. there's such a special spirit. We've had a goal as a zone to find 10 new people to teach each week- our district alone has found more than 10. It's been cool to unite in that effort. 

Also, please pray for our friends!! Satan hit them all hard yesterday. 

Jacob is still working towards baptism but has hit some roadblocks. Please pray that he'll be guided to make the right decision and that those he loves will soften their hearts!

Andrew needs prayers of comfort and support. 
Jimmy and Ashley - Jimmy that his health will be ok and Ashley that her heart will soften 

Amy and her family- they need some comfort 

Susan that she'll be safe.

Michelle that she'll get better and feel some peace.
