'Twas A Week

Okay!  

This week was one of those weeks where a lot of people cancelled lessons, BUT. It was still a good week! 

The elders in the Sault St. Marie had a baptism this week! they did it in our building and so we got to help out and then watch it on zoom. It was great! It's always a special experience watching someone choose to follow God! 

We had an amazing lesson with Alex this week! She told us that she loves reading the book of Mormon. She said she feels like a weight is lifted off her shoulders every time she reads it. She said that she loves that she's building her desire to grow her faith and that it's not being influenced by other people, and that she keeps wanting to come back and be taught more! It was really cool to hear her describe the spirit. It's a new feeling for her, and she said she wants to feel it as often as possible! Hearing her talk about feeling the spirit really strengthened my testimony that this church is true. It is the only Church that brings true lasting happiness, like what Alex was feeling! I feel so blessed to be a part of it and to share this Gospel with others. 

I loveeee being a missionary and being a part of the battle for souls! It's the greatest work on the earth right now and I feel so honored to be working alongside the Lord.
