Happy Thanksgiving! (ITS CHRISTMAS NOW)

Hey y’all!

This week went by sooo fast. I can’t believe my online MTC experience is already almost over. Tuesday is my last day of classes. So crazy!

I’m so grateful for the MTC! I’ve learned a ton. We’ve talked about how to teach, the importance of loving people, Jesus Christ, how to implement the Book of Mormon in our teachings, and so much more. I love my district!! I'll miss them a ton but can't wait to hear the experiences they all have out in the field.

Something I love about the MTC is that they not only teach you HOW to teach, but they teach the Gospel. The key to teaching effectively is being converted ourselves. Our job is to testify of Christ, and then the Spirit takes over. We had a lesson on faith on Monday. I really needed it. I wrote about it on Facebook that day. take a look at it if you want :) We watched a video about people who were going through hard times. A man was paralyzed, another lost his son, and a mom was having a bad day. The thing that i loved is that none of their situations changed. What changed was their faith in Christ and their outlook on their situation. I felt like it applied to me. This ear stuff is annoying, and I hate that it might impact my ability to serve my mission when I want to. We went to the ENT specialist on Tuesday, and he said that I need surgery and that the only time he had open wasn't until february. BUT THEN. GET THIS! My cousin who's a surgeon at John Hopkins had one of his surgeon friends look at my CT scan. This guy said that he doesn't think I even need surgery!! so, we're hoping to go out and see this guy and have him take a look at my ear. There's hope I'll be able to go out. I know Heavenly Father is aware of my situation. So, as of right now, I may be released until we can figure this out. I'll keep you all updated. I just know that God is in control! A scripture I have loved the past couple days is Doctrine and Covenants 123:17. "Therefore, dearly beloved brethren, let us acheerfully bdo all things that lie in our power; and then may we stand still, with the utmost assurance, to see the csalvation of God, and for his arm to be revealed."

Aside from the ear stuff, here's some pics to show you more of my week! I'm so grateful for my family and for thanksgiving and for the fact that ITS CHRISTMAS NOW WOOT WOOT!!! I'm so excited for Light the World.

Hope you all have a great week love y'all!

1) Thanksgiving with the fam
2) We played "Gadiantan Robbers" yesterday. it was sooo fun lol. We were all "nephites" (villagers) and the detective was the "prophet". it was so awesome. we'd all turn our screens off while the moderator would give out the assignments. loved it
